Residential Trash & Recycling Pickup Service

We provide weekly residential trash service and semi-monthly recycling pickup service to residents of Sunset Ranch MUD. Call us today to have one or more trash containers delivered to your home. Please have trash/recycling containers out to the curb by 6:00am.

Weekly trash pickup on Monday each week.
  • All household garbage must be in plastic bags and MUST BE placed in a cart furnished by Alford Services, Inc. If you need an additional cart, please contact us.
  • Please keep the container clean and free of pests!
  • Note: items not allowed include rocks, bricks, concrete, manure, batteries, tires, oil or paint
Recycling pickup on 1st and 3rd Thursday of the month.
  • All recycling must be loose. We will not accept bagged recycling. The ONLY thing allowed OUTSIDE your recycled cart will be BROKEN DOWN BOXES.
  • Refer to these recycling do’s and dont’s for additional guidance on recycling
Bulk pick up is the last Monday of each month
  • You may put out an additional 2 cubic yards of bulk along with your cart, on the LAST MONDAY of each month. View these guidelines (page 2) for information about acceptable bulk items.

  • Your first trash polycart is $20 per month, plus 5% fuel surcharge and 6.25% sales tax. Each additional polycart is $10 per month plus 5% fuel surcharge and 6.25% sales tax.

  • Recycle containers are $15 per month, plus 5% fuel surcharge and 6.25% sales tax. Each additional recycling container is $7.50 per month plus 5% fuel surcharge and 6.25% sales tax.

Polycart cleaning tips:

  • Spray your polycart with a mixture of dish soap and water
  • Let it soak for 15 minutes or longer, if needed
  • Scrub thoroughly
  • Use bleach if needed
  • Spray for pests under lip, handle and bottom of container
